Video version available on YouTube. Please note that certain sections may not translate well to the audio only format.
In this episode, I review the classic Looney Tunes short 'A Bear for Punishment,' released on October 20, 1951, and directed by Chuck Jones. Joined by my friends Kamden Spies and Mark Arnold, we explore the history and trivia of the 632nd Looney Tunes short, its Blue Ribbon reissue in 1959, and its place on the Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 2 DVD set and the Platinum Collection Vol. 3 Blu-ray set. Our discussion touches on the evolution of Chuck Jones' work, voice actor Stan Freberg's contribution, and includes an interview with Linda Jones. We also analyse various elements of the cartoon, including character behaviours, cultural references, and animation techniques.
