Cheese Chasers (1951) Review: Hubie and Bertie's Cheesy Farewell

In this episode, we review the classic Looney Tunes short 'Cheese Chasers,' released on August 25, 1951, and directed by Chuck Jones. My guest, S.C. MacPeter, and I explore the humorous and dark themes of the final Hubie and Bertie short. We discuss its notable trivia and animation style, and also take a look at the retirement of secondary characters during this period. Despite the short's darker undertones, we appreciate its clever comedy and the unexpected inclusion of a neurotic bulldog.
