Scent-Imental Romeo (1951) Review: Pepe Le Pew's Zoo Adventure!
In this episode, I review the classic Looney Tunes short 'Sentimental Romeo', released on March 24, 1951, directed by Chuck Jones. Joined by my good friend Kamden Spies, we delve into the storyline where a cat disguises herself as a skunk to get food at the zoo and Pepe Le Pew's comedic attempts to woo her. We discuss trivia including the use of exaggerated French signage, Pepe's imitation of Maurice Chevalier, and the Apache dance scene. Additionally, we explore Pepe's history in comics and his place in the Looney Tunes franchise.
