Opossum Shenanigans: Sleepy Time Possum (1951) Review!
Video version available on YouTube. Please note that certain sections may not translate well to the audio only format.
In this video, I review the 1951 Looney Tunes short, 'Sleepy Time Possum,' featuring an Opossum family dealing with household chores. Joined by friend S. C. MacPeter, we discuss the short's direction by Bob McKimson, its release details, and why it didn't stand out despite competent animation and humorous elements. Notably, it was the last short with Cornett Wood as McKimson's layout artist. While the short remains serviceable and harmless, it lacks memorable moments or gags, making it an average entry in the Looney Tunes series. Stay tuned for more reviews and make sure to subscribe and like the video.
